​Cpt. Clay Shidler I have lived on the water in Crystal River Florida my entire life and have worked very hard to be one of the top producing captains in our area. I especially love to target shallow water species including trout, redfish, snook, tripletail, and cobia. However, between October 1st and December 31st my passion is for one of the tastiest fish in the Gulf of Mexico, the gag grouper. We have one of the best fisheries in the state and I would be happy to introduce you to our area. 

Cpt. Blake Shidler I’m Capt Blake Shidler. I was born in raised in Crystal River, Florida and I have lived here my entire life. I have grown up fishing both the inshore and offshore waters of Crystal River and the Florida Keys. I started fishing inshore with my brother at a young age before going to offshore fishing running a commercial fishing boat. The water has been a huge part of my life and couldn’t think of doing anything else as a career. 

Cpt. Hunter Bozeman Captain Hunter grew up both bass fishing and grouper fishing with his parents in Crystal River. Fishing has always been a passion and he has chased that passion from one end the United States to the other. While going to college in Fort Myers he worked on a commercial grouper/snapper boat whenever he wasn’t in class and in summers would run a charter boat in Seward Alaska for halibut and salmon. 

Cpt. Jacob Brown Jacob M. Brown has been fishing offshore since he could hold a fishing pole in his hands. His father, Joe, took him offshore on weekends to catch grouper and snapper. He spent most weekdays inshore fishing with his grandfather. By the time he was six, his father was teaching him how to spearfish in the shallow waters off of Bayport and Homosassa. This hobby continued throughout his childhood and grew into his present passion.

Crystal River backwater fishing for Sea Trout and Redfish
The Club has new dates to fish with Hang 'em High fishing (Capt. Dakota) on a 24' Sabrecat, a cat hulled flats boat fishing the backwaters, Inshore creeks and mangrove islands for sea trout and redfish.
