2025 Spring outdoor expo at the Everglades Rec Center set for Feb. 28 & Mar. 1 Times: 10 AM to 3 PM Free to all residents. The Deep Sea Fishing Club will have a booth set up manned by volunteers. It will have fishing trip videos, membership signups and lists of our trip coordinators for booking fishing trips.

The Villages hosts an exposition designed to present and promote the outdoor recreation activities in the central Florida area that are available to all village residents. Recreation-oriented vendors and all village outdoor and sports clubs are invited to participate in this two-day event held in the Everglades Rec Center and surrounding outdoor areas. The Deep Sea Fishing Club is a participant in this event. An abundance of booths, displays and demonstrations are manned by club and vendor personnel available to answer all of your questions. Demonstrations of techniques and equipment are held at various times throughout the day, many which invite participation by expo attendees. Door prizes are also available to lucky winners.

2024 Spring outdoor expo at the Everglades was a lot of fun. Many clubs were represented and of course, our Deep Sea Fishing Club. Thanks to Charlie Pryde's excellent composite fishing video and the good looking guys who manned our booth. We signed up 29 new members!
